Rudi Flores

Rudi has been a part of the Breakthrough Fort Worth program since 2001. He was a Breakthrough student from 2001-03 and taught summer sessions from 2005-2010. In 2013, he returned to fulfill middle school program management and has progressed to managing affiliate operations including program coordination, student recruitment, school alliances, student/family program needs and affiliate liaison to the national Breakthrough Collaborative. He also serves as Dean of Students, High School Options Adviser and as a Senior Adviser. A first-gen college graduate, Rudi holds a BA in Electronic Media with a minor in Spanish from The University of Texas at El Paso. Prior to returning to Breakthrough, he served as a corps member and team leader for City Year (an AmeriCorps national service network) in San Antonio, where he completed 5,200 hours of service at S.J. Davis Middle School working with sixth-grade math classes.
