Tony Ramos

Prior to his role as College Bound Coordinator, Tony has served as a summer instructional coach 2020-2022 for BTFW’s seventh-grade science and math teaching fellows. In addition to his full-time position as the host’s Middle School Pre-Algebra Teacher, he is excited to focus on guiding Breakthrough high school youth on their college bound track as well. A great benefit to BTFW students, Tony’s range of teaching experiences includes serving as Math Interventionist at IDEA Rise Fort Worth, Eighth-Grade Math Teacher for Uplift Preparatory Mighty Middle School (Fort Worth), BTFW Instructional Coach, and Mentor Teacher for Teach for America Summer Institute (Fort Worth). For Breakthrough students, he is focused on enhancing high school programming and expanding workshop opportunities. Tony graduated from Pomona College (California) with a B.A. in Computer Sciences.
